Jerick Meagher

Jerick Meagher is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and music educator based in Phoenix, Arizona. He is the baritone saxophone chair in the award winning LOTUS, which was recently awarded a gold medal in the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition, First prize at the Music Teachers National Association Chamber Music Competition, grand prize in the Arizona International Music Competition, and placed in many other competitions including the Coltman Chamber Music Competition and the North American Saxophone Alliance Quartet Competition. Jerick has commissioned and/or premiered duo/chamber works by composers such as Viet Cuong, Carter Pann, and Karalyn Schubring. Jerick enjoys performing a variety of music including classical, jazz, pop, rock, and everything in between. His goal is to connect with the audience through powerful artistic statements on the stage and help guide and mentor the next generation of artists off the stage, frequently prioritizing community performances and outreach.
